At Ssanggyesa, you are able to access the southern point of Jirisan National Park. At Ssanggyesa, you can see the temple area, which includes 11 buildings, and also hike up to Buril Falls (2.3km) as well as Samsinbong Peak (8.8km).
To get back to Hadong or Jinju, you have to buy your bus ticket (2,500 won to Hadong) at this restaurant:
This restaurant is located on the right side of the stone bridge before you cross the river towards Ssangyesa temple. After buying your bus ticket, you have to cross the street to where you were dropped off to wait for the return bus.
